Update & Pics

We're welcoming the great fall weather here in VA. I love this time of year! We've been telling Cora that baby brother is coming in the winter. The cooler weather reminds me often that baby time is creeping closer! I'm feeling great and, as you will see by this weekend's picture at Ben's Chili Bowl, getting big. Strange to be like a pumpkin at Halloween.

Cora is busy this fall with music, playgroups, a bible study, and a one morning a week drop off program "school". She is a really active two year old and is running if she's not sleeping. Her favorite things to do at home are taking her 'guys' on walks in her baby stroller, visiting Jameson's house, helping me water the plants, picking cherry tomatoes, throwing rocks into the stream by our house, and going to the park with neighborhood friends. Inside she likes puzzles, reading, and watching 'shows' (Dora the Explorer or Olivia) she loves to pretend and Dan and I often have to be Benny or Isa, characters from Dora. She likes to cook super hero food for Dan and come up with 'plans'.

Dan and I are slowly learning the art of dealing with the 'twos'. Its a constant compromise (battle) but full of laughs and joy. We're looking forward to welcoming our little guy soon but also cherishing our time with our girl before she becomes a big sister.

Wishing you a fun fall ahead! Molly
